The results of the LifeClever + Federated Media reader survey are in. I’d like to especially thank all 165 people who participated. Your efforts have given me much illumination into the LifeClever community.
Since I’m sure you’re wondering who your fellow readers are demographically. Here are some highlights:
- 71.5% Male
- 47.7% Aged 18—29
- 61% Household income over 50k
- 47.9% Publish their own blog
- 25% Computer professionals
- 11% Students
For detailed breakdowns, check out the full results.
If you’re still curious about who reads LifeClever, come see the faces of fellow readers on our MyBlogLog community page
You can also see who’s favorited us on Technorati. Heck, you might have an uncontrollable urge to favorite us, too. ;-)
Given that men still dominate the technology field, I’m glad LifeClever has more female readers percentage-wise than sites like TechCrunch and Digg. Of course, I had hoped for a more even split, but hopefully this will change eventually. I’d hate for this to become a boys-only club. I swear we don’t have cooties anymore.

I like LifeClever because they don’t restrict comments to suck-ups and they don’t fill my newsreader with a million things that would tend to complicate my life rather than simplify it. Yeah, you know who you are :)

Doh! My internet just got turned on at my new place. I’m a regular reader, 37, female. That’s all.

That’s opposite of me. I’m female, a student, and I make way less than 50k a year.
