&lt;p&gt;To me, the I will see the &quot;Be versatile&quot; point to be more like &quot;Have the desire to Learn&quot;. Learn more and you become more rounded and hence you can apply yourself more to your company&#039;s requirement. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;If I can add one more pointer, that is &quot;Network&quot;! &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;No one can survive alone. And it is always helpful to have someone putting in a good word for you, or roping you into a challenging project.&lt;/p&gt;
