I almost got shut out of the upcoming San Francisco screening, but due to fervent demand, a second screening was added for the same night on June 13th. As of today, only about 20 tickets are left for this screening. So if you’re in SF and fear missing the show, get tickets now.

Helvetica is a feature-length independent film about typography, graphic design and global visual culture. It looks at the proliferation of one typeface (which is celebrating its 50th birthday this year) as part of a larger conversation about the way type affects our lives.

To access a secret volume control, hold down Shift while clicking on the volume icon in the controller below the movie. A modified slider will appear, letting you increase the movie’s volume to its true resounding potential.
