Nice and colorful. That icon in the header looks good enough to chew on. (Note: tabfocus is off for the comment form). Other than that, great stuff.

Very nice design, love the header, but for me there’s just too much sidebar space and not enough for content.

Today seems like the day of freshness - two new blog designs so far of sites I read daily.

Thanks for the kind words, guys. Have been working on this for months, so it’s a relief to finally have it out. Totally agree with Derek, there’s nothing better than a new design to start the week off with.

Oh I love how you tucked the social bookmarking sites into the heart widget. So clever! Nice job.

Sean, just noticed that. That is really awesome. I hate sites who include a huge list of social bookmarking sites under the post, but the way this is hidden yet still easily accessible is really nice. Good work.

It’s all very neat and tidy. Every element just seems to be in a very sensible position. Well done.

I agree the social bookmarking drop-down is a brilliant idea. Is this done using a plugin or have you hand CSSed it?

Nice work. I recently asked my readers what I should change about my own blog. An interesting exercise that left me with quite a few things to think about.

    Keep up the great blogging.

Careful using filenames like “banner.gif” for elements on your page, like the logo/masthead. PithHelmet (and other spam filters) make it disappear! I don’t see your logo anymore.

I like it, much cleaner and tidier ;-)

But, the header sidebar is a bit to mach wasted space.

Great work! Like Sean and Glenn mentioned, the social bookmarking sites in the dropdown menu are a brilliant idea. I love the new design.

I don’t know about this. I like the content section but I prefer the old sidebar(s). Hiding those social bookmarking links in the heart is a great idea.

Cool. Will the new look result in more posts, daily perhaps?

Andy, now that I’m not slaving away on getting the new design up. I’ll have a bit more time for posts. I’ve also added a little Delicious Links section on the sidebar with links to things I’m reading and my comments about them.

I’m still working on the sidebars and bringing back some of the other sections that were in there before. Stay tuned!

I love it, but I would add more to the content…It could be because of my widescreen computer, but it seems like a very narrow content area.

Great work, I love the heart!

it does look nice - but how about some more articles? And not just mac apps - we PCers read too. I’m in danger of kicking you guys off my RSS feed. But I love you too much.
