For Windows, I would recommend Instant Boss. It's a small utility app built around the (10+2)*5 dash. Pops up a window each time a timer goes off, so you know it's break time or work time. Hide the window, and you can see the timer in the status bar. Close the window altogether and it will live on in the system tray, and still put up windows as necessary.

I would recommend checking out the pomodoro method. It is very similar, except that it uses a 25/5 minute cycle as default. Most pomodoro software lets you customize this though.

And there is software for mac, windows and several smartphones, for being productive on the go :)

I–™ve come up with a process that uses the default WYSIWYG editor (or a free service), 1 plugin and 1 CSS class to post any type of code into your Wordpress blog.

Nice! You really spelled out the whole thing for everyone.

Here is a nice link you might want to check out: http://www.indiahowto.com/how-to-stop-procrastinating.html

It has all the procrastination overcoming techniques, causes, "make sure your child is not a procrastinator", tips etc...all of it in one place. Maybe you will find it interesting!

Cheers!

A nice feature would be to be able to automatically start the "Play" timer once the "Work" timer is finished, and vice-versa, for a complete cycle. Anyone Applescripter here?

I'd love to know a way to do that for Windows, 'cause I get so lost within work, emails and the web... I'd really thank anyone to tell us.
