When you need to send a fax and don’t have an archaic beige fax machine, use FaxZero.
It’s free and lets you send a PDF or Word document to any fax number in the USA. FaxZero prints an ad on the coversheet, but leaves the main pages uncorrupted (Ad-free faxes are about two bucks). The test fax I sent arrived quickly and with a very crisp, clear resolution.
Skype, are you listening?

It doesn’t look as snazzy but http://www.tpc.int/ lets you send faxes to many other countries and it has been around a lot longer.

i have been looking for these types of services as I do not have a fax machine and it drives me nuts that some companies do not or will not accept resumes via email. the smart and easy way. obviously they have MS-based pc’s and fear getting hit with a virus and possibly data-mining. now if there were a free-unlimited fax service……sweeeeeet!

This sounds exactly what I’m looking for… except I am in Japan, and I need to send a fax to my customer in China…
Sigh…
The search continues.
