I admit it, I have a weakness for M&M’s. Recently, my compulsive nature drove me to visit my favorite candy’s website. I was floored to find out you can now create custom M&M’s. This is true eye candy.
The process is simple. First pick from 17 colors, add your custom messaging, select a packaging style, and in about two weeks, your personalized M&M’s will arrive at your doorstep. If you forgo the custom messaging, you’ll get to choose from a wider gamut of 22 colors.
Pricing begins at about $50 for a set of four 7oz bags. Quite a bit more than regular M&M’s. But for the perfect Valentine’s day gift, it’s worth it.

I love the idea of these, but can’t swallow (sorry, bad pun) the price. That’s almost $30 a pound!
Now, if they would fulfill my lifelong dream of making them in chrome, that might be tempting. I know it’s possible - remember those little chrome balls for cake decorating?

They will ship to Canada but you have to sell your first born to get it!! I wanted 6 bags to be delivered to Canada, they said it would cost…wait for it…$66.00 on top of my order!! Are they nuts lol.

I tried to order them to Ontario and hey told me it might not get past customs, and UPS might refuse to deliver it. I’m searching EVERYWHERE to find something similar for my wedding.

Try calling UPS. You need M&M to fill out special paperwork to ship the food item into Canada. It’s a pain for M&M’s but not impossible. They will most likely tell you that they will only ship UPS via next day shipping and that if it melts you are on your own. UPS can give you the name of the form. We shipping chocolate from Canada into the US for a tradeshow via UPS and it was pretty easy. Good luck!

i don’t care that much for m&m’s but now that they can be custom made i would like one bag, price between $10 to $15 i mean come on its candy not a new house so it shouldn’t be so expensive

I just ordered a 5 pound bag for my wedding celebration with 2 different pictures of my wife and I on the M&M’s… and our names on a third. You can choose 2 pictures and must have words also. I am guessing they print 1/3 of each style (2/3 with the pictures and 1/3 with the words). The 5 pound box cost $139 + $40 shipping to Hawaii. I hesitated when calculating the price per pound, yet when I recognized how much everything else was costing for this celebration and how much of an impact this simple treat would make, I felt it was worth the price. Sometimes the money is simply not the issue.

EH M&M what is your problem. just because we are north of you does not mean you have to hate on us. what is up with the no shipping to canada EH?
and yes why can’t you print on dark colors eh? not fair. guess we all have to have a white or pastel wedding. EH I wish you best of luck with these angry canadians.

everyone should understand that chocolate do melt. so its hard for them to ship to canada. what they should do is open a store in canada…right? i love the idea as well, i want some god dammit!

My fiance and I are planning our wedding and wanted to have some personalized M&M’s with just our names and the wedding date. We live in Ottawa, Ontario (Canada). For those who were looking for it the telephone number to place an international order is 1.888.696.6788 and they will tell you all the costs and whatnot.
Hefty though. A 5lb box costs $95 just to ship and I’m not sure if there will be duty, taxes, etc. on that. We have some friends in Columbus, Ohio who are coming down for our Stag & Doe so I think we’ll just ship it to them (for $22) and have them bring them up for us.

I have been calling the international number above which is also on the website and everyday for the last two weeks, I have been getting a message that says we are experiencing more than normal call volumes and they don’t allow you to wait, they jsut hang up on you. For two weeks. Please. If they were that busy, they should get someone else on the phones. I e-mailed them as well and no response. I think they jsut don’t care.

Don’t do it! I paid almost $300 for 10 lbs of these for wedding favors. They arrived and the order was completely wrong. They only sent me 5 lbs and they were the wrong colors. Plus, the printing looks terrible. I have been trying for 4 days now to get through to them, but no luck whatsoever! Ever number that I can get through to is a different division and can’t help me and the people that supposedly can help me do not pick up the phone! I have spent over 4 hours total listening to their hold music. I have sent emails, and some of their other departments claim to have sent emails - but still nothing!. This has to be the WORST case of customer service I have ever encountered. My wedding is now 4 days away and yesterday I had to go out and find new favors. Not exactly what I want to be doing 4 days before my wedding!

my fiance and i are looking to get some of these m&m’s for our wedding favors, i have emailed them like 5 times now called on hold for get this 2 hrs yes i was crazy enough to wait i had nothing better to do home sick lol, and still i got no awnser, im getting a bit ticked i want to know if they ship to canada, how much it will cost me and all the ins and out we really want these, but man they dont make it easy for us who want to accually spend the money for them.i live in Dartmouth Nova Scotia and want some of these… come on M & M make with the customer service already…

Hey I had the same issue and I finally got through to the customer service line and the way it works is you can only order the personalized m&m’s to Canada but not the my faces. They said the reason was because you have to submit the picture online for my faces and their online service isn’t set up for international orders. I asked them why I couldn’t just send them the picture through an email address and they could do it over the phone but they refused and said they will be fixing this for 2010. So basically it costs $130.00 for a 5lb box of the personalized m&m’s and it is $95.97 to ship to Canada but that includes all the Canadian border fees including taxes. So it will cost a lot and you will have to wait on hold forever but you can order the personalized m&m’s with the messages to Canada. Honestly if you can’t get the faces I don’t think it’s worth the cost. It would only be $9.99 more for the my faces but of course not available to Canada.

Hi Canadians! My fiance and I wanted to order some orange and dark pink m&m’s for our wedding however just found out that it would cost an arm and a leg for them to get here (Northern Ontario). Instead we opted for Jelly Belly’s (or similar). you can get them at the Bulk Barn and can choose whichever colours/flavors you want for your wedding. We got 3 kinds of pink and 2 kinds of orange. Not the same effect (we wanted the chocolates because both our names start with M…) but these will look great with the colours :)

You could use a parcel forwarding company like http://www.shipito.com. I used them before and it works well. They receive the order in the US and ship it anywhere you want.

I have shipped my order to family in the states and they are shipping it to me … alot cheaper.. and as long as it is winter they wont melt.

I just ordered some on Friday for my wedding next month to ship to Ontario… I was having trouble with the website, it wouldn’t take the postal code but I called the 1-800 number and they handled my order over the phone. The shipping is quite costly but when you think about it… weddings are expensive and the fact that it still worked out to be about $1.50 per person that’s not bad. The order came this morning and it is perfect! Well worth it and they do have platimun M & M’s which totally fits with our theme!!!!
