Really? 1 million new features? I downloaded the beta version of CS3 .. when it came out .. and it had only a handful of features .. and I use Photoshop on a daily basis .. and didn't see it much different than the CS2 version. I think i gotta check out the latest version I guess ..

I at least have to get Photoshop. I've really gotten to love the beta (wow that's a first) and will miss it when it expires... and it will expire because my company just upgraded to CS2 not too long ago, so i doubt we'll get the upgrade.

However that package system is confusing to say the least.

You know a company is greedy when the Master Collection aka the Ultimate package has everything BUT Photoshop, which means you'll need to buy TWO packages.

It has photoshop.

Boy, sorting through the all different versions in tandem with the upgrade options is giving me a major headache. I still can't believe Illustrator hasn't included real multi-page support. Oy.

Did Adobe buy Macromedia or Microsoft? I'm totally flabbergasted by the 8 different versions (which are also not the same between Mac OS X and Windows - awesome, that'll make for some great planning headaches).

Why do I have the feeling that this version will still ask me if I want to save the clipboard when switching to other applications or that it will crash regularly when working with text in AI/PS? Perhaps because Adobe seems to be a marketing-driven company that doesn't listen to it's core user bases need for better customization and more stability and speed.

Jen - In the UK at least it was software bought after the 16th March - not sure when it finishes and it may vary from supplier to supplier

I hope to purchase something out of this (trying to decide whether it'd be worth to splurge for the Production Premium package or hold off and purchase just only Photoshop). I will be patient as well though and wait for reviews and blog posts before I buy.
