Hello, my name is Chanpory and this is LifeClever. Here’s the gist of this site:
LifeClever is a career guide for designers.
My goal is to help you create, work, and live better as a designer. I’m not a productivity guru, design legend, or rock star. I’m just here to share everything I’ve learned about working as a designer. Hopefully, I’ll learn from you, too.
What you’ll find here
- Career advice (remember the gist?)
- Practical design tips and tricks—for both professional and amateur designers—so you can create smarter, faster, better.
- Cool, designy stuff I’m obsessing about
- Random tangents from my wandering mind
What you won’t find here
- Long-winded prose about the dismal state of design
- Monologues about the greatness of Macs (I’ll try, at least)
- Lengthy design observations without a point
About me
I design software and services for Dubberly Design Office in San Francisco. One might say, I’m an interaction designer.
I’ve also pushed pixels for MetaDesign, Move Design, Youth Radio, and McShane Adigard Design (MAD). When not feeling modest, I brag about my interaction and branding work for Macworld, Samsung, Symantec, Adobe, Yahoo!, and Four Seasons Hotel.
I’m a graduate of the California College of the Arts and Oakland Technical High School. Occasionally, I also take classes at Stanford—for fun!
