Great tip! Except the "close" icon is in the top-left of the widget, not the top-right. Well, I suppose it's the right side from the widget's point of view. ;-) In any case, this is a really good tip that I will definitely use.

And Ed - disable Dashboard? Never! I need quick access to that Whoopie Cushion widget!

Or you could just disable Dashboard altogether :)
